I havent been to the Brisbane group - I'm based in Sydney - but I hear its building up nicely. Should be a good mtg.

Hi all,

Thanks Andrew and Sam for your leadership and great information which
made the last meeting really informative. We don't realise how lucky
we are to have them as part of our group. They can charge big bucks to
sit around and talk about Joomla.

An enjoyable and informative meeting format seems to be becoming
clear. If someone's got something great to show off, or has a prepared
talk then we'll go for that or we can have an informal discussion
learning from Andrew, Sam and other experts present. Either way,
everyone learns some more about Joomla and makes good contacts.

I'm just back from Silicon Valley in the US. Over there, they've
really got a handle on how to network and it helps them grow really
fast. If you want to recruit Joomla staff, get recruited or find
someone to collaborate like designer + developer etc. please do use
this meeting to extend your network. It's not just about Joomla
software but helping support viable Joomla based businesses and taking
a great deal of pride in what we do.

Great to meet some fellow Brisbane based JoomlaPhiles. I hope this group grows as we are well placed with our proximity to the mountain men from Towoomba and to leech sorry learn from their wealth of knowledge and understanding.
