Joomla 3.1.0 Released

The Joomla Project is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Joomla 3.1.0 and Joomla 3.1.1

This release includes 7 security fixes, 11 new feature, and 242 tracker issues fixed.

Joomla 3.1.x uses Twitter Bootstrap to become the first any major CMS to be mobile device friendly out-of-the-box. It also adds PostgreSQL database support in addition to the existing MySQL and MSSQL support.

This is the second short term release in the Joomla 3 series. Most users with existing Joomla 2.5.x websites will wait for the next long term release Joomla 3.5 in March 2014 before upgrading.

Site coordinated by Dex Randall with help from too many of you to list names, but Patrick Jackson always steps in at fullback. Big thanks also to Nick Sibbing @ Artful for the domain. And to you, the contributor, and all the JUG coordinators.
