Great November meeting last night - an avalanche of SEO tips of all sorts - thanks to our presenters!

Boot Camp for Joomla! community (admins/techs) has turned in to a bit of a moveable feast, as we try to lock down the best most talented team to give you these days of Joomla intensive training workshops. Dates are still tentative in Brisbane (currently April 2009) but locked in for Melbourne (Feb 8&9 2009 for JoomlaDay plus half a day of workshops on the Sunday) and sketched in for Sydney later in the year, probably July or September 2009. For anyone gagging to attend - if you can get to Melbourne - go! Training in all three cities will be given by a team headed by Andrew Eddie, Joomla development team coordinator and previously Joomla core developer.

For November: Joomla SEO intensive tutorial. We have Patrick Jackson from Melbourne JUG and other Joomla SEO experts to speak and answer your questions. We also have two Joomla SEO video tutorials to show. Includes using SEO add-ons, migrating SEF URLs to a Joomla site, getting and preserving rankings.

As we gain more and more clients here in Adelaide we've found that we have a big enough basis to start the Adelaide Joomla User Group properly. The first ever Adelaide JUG will be held in mid November 19th, 2008 at the office of PB Web Development on Rundle Street.

The October Melbourne User Group Meeting's on Wednesday 22th Wednesday 29th from 6:30pm. We've moved a week.
