The October Sydney meeting is on at Capture on Tues 14th October, 6pm. Please come and join us if you want to discuss something that hasn't quite worked for you on a joomla site. This month's topic "Where did I go wrong?". We've all had a few crunchy experiences, hopefully salvageable. Let's discuss them, share the pain and see if we can't get a few tips. This is more your sob stories than your general Joomla 'how to' questions'

Adelaide first meeting Nov 19th 2008

As we gain more and more clients here in Adelaide we've found that we have a big enough basis to start the Adelaide Joomla User Group properly. The first ever Adelaide JUG will be held in mid November 19th, 2008 at the office of PB Web Development on Rundle Street.

Ryan Cross (Drupal User Group) is re-scheduling the Open Source web build competition that we tried to get going earlier this year. It will take place in a closed venue over a 24 hour period, building a site from scratch for a nominated Non-Profit Organisation. See how it works at fullcodepress.com. LATEST NEWS 09/10/08: The Sydney Bootcamp has sadly been cancelled, not by us but by the trainer Joomlatools. We will re-schedule this event in the new year (February?) with a new line-up, but it's going to be crash hot, you won't want to miss it. There will be streams for the beginner/administrator and professional/developer. Meanwhile, take a look at the Bootcamp in Brisbane in December...
