The Melbourne Joomla User Group

Join the Joomla Melbourne User Group meets on the 4th Wednesday each month*.

ICT Building, c/- The University of Melbourne, 111 Barry Street, Carlton

The meeting room is on the ground floor, right (northern) wing. Signage is up for most meetings.

The Joomla Melbourne User Group also run a number of other events during the year, including our annual joomla conference, and webcasts with international joomla experts and luminaries.

Melbourne JoomldaDay 2010 is a conference that spins around the most popular Open Source Content Management System Joomla!. Organised by the Melbourne Joomla User Group, this year's programme focusses on workshops and conveying practical knowledge to Joomla users at all levels. Presentations are extended to 45-90 minutes each maximising learning outcomes with easy to follow walkthroughs for each topic.

The Melbourne Joomla User Group yet again organises an outstanding Joomla! conference over three days in Feb 2010. From the 12 - 14 February, Joomla! enthusiasts at any level can enjoy highest quality workshops and presentations. Each presentation/workshop is a highlight on its own. All sessions are presented by experienced and senior Joomla! users/developers from Australia and overseas.

Amy Stephen inspires Melbourne Joomla User Group

An enthusiastic group from the Melbourne Joomla User Group got together early on Saturday April 18th to connect up with Amy Stephen for some insights into Joomla. After a few hours, Amy's shared enthusiasm left the group inspired and looking forward to new ways they can maximise their use of Joomla.
