"We talked over the concept of a Joomla Developer/Integrator Boot Camp
here in Brisbane for a couple of days around 2nd to 7th December. It
does not leave us much time to organise it but there is not a huge
amount to do but we need to know how many people are interested in
coming.
The Boot Camp would be short on talks and long on very practical help
from the best Joomla experts in the world for you about your actual
everyday Joomla site building concerns. There would be lots of
informal time to review how you build sites and help for you do it
more elegantly. We would make plenty of time to build your own
developer network and talk about strengthening Joomla's role in your
consultancy business or workplace.
There is a very high chance one or both of Sam Moffat and Andrew Eddie
from the Joomla Core Team will attend and we would wrangle some more
Core Team members as we meet attendee thresholds. We'll make sure
there are experts present so these tracks can be covered:
* Development
* Integration
* Infrastructure/Admin
* Business development
and possibly Training.

to Joomla as your CMS, this Boot Camp will be the place to be.

LATEST NEWS 09/10/08: The Sydney Bootcamp has sadly been cancelled, not by us but by the trainer Joomlatools. We will re-schedule this event in the new year (February?) with a new line-up, but it's going to be crash hot, you won't want to miss it. There will be streams for the beginner/administrator and professional/developer. Meanwhile, take a look at the Bootcamp in Brisbane in December...
